Protocol

How Zenc works

Zenc is being developed as a privacy and routing layer for onchain finance in the Robinhood ecosystem. The steps below describe how the protocol is intended to work as it is built.

  1. 01 —In development

    Analyze

Intelligent routing evaluates available routes and relevant execution conditions.

  2. 02 —In development

    Route

The protocol aims to coordinate cross-chain connectivity and privacy infrastructure.

  3. 03 —In development

    Stay in control

Users should have clear visibility into the actions they initiate and the status of their transactions.

Status labels reflect the current stage of development. No part of the protocol described here is publicly live yet, and planned functionality may change before release.

Privacy

Privacy as a design constraint.

Privacy infrastructure is part of the protocol's foundation, not a setting added later. These are the principles guiding its development.

This waitlist follows the same rule.

Only an email address is required. Wallet address and X username are optional, and raw IP addresses are never stored. Privacy policy

  • 01

    Minimal disclosure

The protocol is being designed to expose only the information a transaction needs in order to settle.

  • 02

    Control stays with the user

Actions are initiated by you, and their status should remain visible to you from start to settlement.

  • 03

    Documented, not assumed

Privacy properties will be specified and published for review before anyone is asked to rely on them.

These are design goals for a protocol in development. They are not guarantees about a live system.
